- How does Eat AI estimate calories?
- Our AI analyzes the photo you submit, identifies ingredients and portion sizes, and returns calorie and macro estimates. Estimates are approximations. For medical or clinical accuracy, consult a registered dietitian.
- Why did my scan fail?
- Make sure the photo is well-lit and shows the full meal. Blurry or obstructed photos reduce accuracy. If scans consistently fail, email us with a sample photo.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- Open iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Eat AI > Cancel Subscription. You will retain access until the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard App Store policy.
- Can I use Eat AI without an account?
- Yes. Eat AI creates an anonymous account on first launch. You can optionally sign in with Apple or Google to sync across devices.
- How do I delete my data?
- Email support@trialanderror.ai with "Delete my account" in the subject. We will remove your Firebase record and any saved images within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. We do not sell data, do not use your photos to train third-party models, and do not run ad networks in the App. Read the full Privacy Policy.
- Does Eat AI work offline?
- Partially. You can view saved meals offline. New scans require an internet connection because the AI runs in the cloud.

- We love both. Email us with as much detail as you can share.
